4.2.2 GSM FIELD TEST
If the control panel has the module GSM IMG30, check that the GSM signal is strong enough to allow
communication. To check the level of the GSM field:

Start the function
Test
– Forward Test GSM
FIELD
by typing
MASTER Code

. The display
shows the message « Forward Test GSM FIELD ».

Press the
OK
key to start the check. At the end of the test, the quality of the GSM signal is displayed in
graphic form (●●●●●:significant field presence, ○○○○○: absence of field).
If the intensity of the GSM field is not satisfactory, try to displace the control panel and to repeat the test.
After the test has been successful, remember to cut off power from the control panel and the various devices, in the
sequence.
Caution:
if you decide to displace the control panel definitively to another position, repeat the test with the remote
controls, and the radio connection tests (par. 4.2.1 RADIO CONNECTION TEST). If necessary, repeat several
times the radio connection, GSM field and remote control, tests, displacing every time the control panel to a new
position, until all test have been successful.
Caution:
this menu will only be available with the remote controllable version with STM30 and GSM module.
