The figure above shows a typical configuration with a host computer (master)
and any number of modules (slaves – up to a maximum of 63).

Each module has a unique address on the network. The corresponding
addresses are assigned individually using the PDP address parameter, which
in DE1 variable speed starters is P-34. The addresses assigned do not have
to follow the physical order (position) in which the modules are connected to
the network.

The master and slave need to be electrically connected using a
DX-CBL-RJ45… connection cable with an RJ45 connector

slaves are being used, they need to be connected in parallel using
DX-SPL-RJ45… splitters
