5. IPv4 Address for Foreign Registration - (Figure 3 6 , A) If you’re using a
BACnet Broadcast Management Device (BBMD) to connect the PXG200E
to a subnet you must define the BBMD IP address to register with the
BBMD on the remote subnet.
6. BBMD Time to Live (seconds) - (Figure 3 6 , B) You can set the BBMD
time to live value. The default for the time to live is 360 seconds, and you
can set any value (in seconds) from 30 to 65536.
7. Auto-Assign Virtual Device IDs - (Figure 3 6 , C) If there is a check-mark
in this box the Device ID (object-identifier) (Figure 3 6 , E) cannot be
modified. If the Auto-Assign Virtual Device IDs box (Figure 3 6 , C) is
un-checked, you can edit the value in Device ID (object-identifier)
(Figure 3 6 , E) .
8. MAC Template for Virtual Devices - (Figure 3 6 , D) This value is used as
a template in generating the separate BACnet/IP Mac address
(Figure 3 6 , F) as a BACnet/IP-capable device is added to the PXG200E.
