Appendix B

USB Driver Installation

The USB port provides a convenient way to locally configure the PXG200E.
Before you can connect the PXG200E to a PC, you must install the USB
driver.

Requirements

To configure the PXG200E using the USB port, you must have:

•

A 32 or 64 bit, PC-compatible, computer

•

A USB AB cable

•

USB driver files (contained on the PXG200E CD-ROM that came with the
unit and also downloadable from

www.eaton.com/pxg

)

Procedure

Common Procedure for Windows XP and Windows 7

Insert the PXG200E CD-ROM into the drive. A dialog box similar to

may appear. If it does, click CANCEL

Power up the PXG200E and wait two minutes for the unit to boot.

Connect the USB AB cable to the PXG200E USB port
