8.2.2 Lubricating the hook

The approved oil quantity for hook lubrication is a factory specification.

Proper setting

Hold a piece of blotting paper next to the hook (1) while sewing.



After sewing a stretch of approx. 1 m, the blotting paper will have
been sprayed with a thin and even film of oil.

Information

The released amount of oil does not change until the operating time has
run a few minutes. Sew for several minutes before you check the setting
again.
