Using Voice Input
Convert voice to text to compose mail or perform
quick search. (Japanese mode)

To use Voice input mail, application is required and
charges apply. When applying for the first time, the
service can be used for 30 days with no charges.
(i-mode subscription is required.) Packet
communications charges apply to use Voice input
mail. For more information, visit the NTT DOCOMO
website.

Voice input can be used in the following functions:
• Compose i-mode mail main text
• Enter a keyword for quick search
z
Voice may not be recognized in the following
circumstances:
• Ambient noise is loud
• Voice is not clear
• Speech is interrupted
• You cough or make noise before/after speech
• You press or rub keys
z
When using an earphone microphone (optional),
keep your mouth close to the microphone.
z
To use this service, you will need to configure the
initial settings, and agree to the terms of use.

When started from quick

seconds.
Voice input ends
automatically if you do not
speak for 3 seconds or so.
The volume bar shows the
volume of your voice.
After you finish speaking, the
handset vibrates.
Communications is established with the Voice
input mail server, and the voice is converted to
text. After the conversion is finished, the result of
the recognition will be displayed, and conversion
candidates will appear.
