Copying/Cutting/Pasting Text

Only a single item of copied or cut data can be
stored. Copying or cutting a new item overwrites
the previously stored text.

“Copy” or “Cut”
The selected text is stored. Up to 5,000 double-
byte characters or 10,000 single-byte characters
can be selected.
You can also use the function menu to cut or
paste by selecting “Copy” or “Cut”.
■ If the text is cut
The selected text is deleted, but it is stored in the
FOMA terminal.
Pasting text
z
Copied or cut text can be pasted repeatedly until
you cut or copy other text or turn the power off.

■ If text to be pasted contains characters
that cannot be entered on the text entry
(edit) screen
A message appears indicating that the
characters will be replaced, then a space or “

Entering Characters Using
Kuten Code
<Kuten code>
Use 4-digit kuten codes to enter kanji, hiragana,
katakana, symbols and alphanumeric characters.

For kuten codes and characters that can be
entered using kuten code, refer to the PDF format
“Kuten Code List” in the provided CD-ROM.
z
Characters or symbols in the Kuten Code List may
be displayed differently on the screen.

Kuten code input mode activates and “ ”
appears in the information display area.

mode reactivates.

A space is entered.
Saving Often-Used Words
<Own dictionary>
Add frequently used words with your preferred
reading to the own dictionary, and recall these words
by entering and converting the reading on the text
entry (edit) screen.

Up to 100 words can be added to the own dictionary.
