The type of measurement being performed and the AC supply conditions are shown on the display, above
the leakage readings. RMS and DC limits corresponding to the test conditions are also shown on the right,
above the readings. Each RMS and DC value is respectively compared to its limit and is either "PASSED"
or "FAILED" automatically by ES601-US. The

PAUSE

button may be pressed at any time to pause the

sequence and freeze the most recent measurement on the display (see

Figure 37

).

Individual leakage readings are rapidly made by ES601-US, each reading usually requiring less than one
second. If it is expected you may want to pause individual values during a test in order review them, you
should set the "PAUSE AFTER..." setting on the Sequence Control menu (

Figure 34

) to at least 2 seconds,

so the time between readings is increased to allow for user reaction time. "PAUSE AFTER..." can be set
from 1 to 5 seconds in steps of one second, or the pause can be completely disabled, allowing you to trade
off operation of the

PAUSE

button against total execution time of the leakage test.
