After "Continue" is clicked, the Import Records dialog will change appearance and will show how the first
line of equipment-related information in the CSV file will be imported (

Figure 133

). Via this dialog, you can

choose which CSV data fields or columns are mapped to the fields of the Equipment Record. The fields of
the Equipment Record are listed on the left-hand side of the dialog and include "Device ID" (control
number); "Device Description"; "Manufacturer"; and so on. Three "Custom" fields which can contain
arbitrary data are also provided.

Refer to Appendix D for an illustrative example of importing Equipment Records into ES601pc-US, from a
CSV export file produced by a CMMS.

8.11.7 Uploading Equipment Records

To upload to ES601-US, press the "Upload To ES601" button. Choose uploading via USB, Ethernet, or
Serial Port, and then press "Connect". If the connection is via ethernet, enter in the IP address assigned to
ES601-US (the IP address of ES601-US is displayed on the LCD when ES601-US is operating in Ethernet
Mode). If the connection is via serial port, choose the COM port to which ES601-US is connected.

After pressing "Connect", a message box with a transfer progress bar will appear. After the transfer is
completed, a Transfer Complete message will appear and the message box will disappear.
