5.4 Safety Limits

ES601-US provides for "user-defined" safety limits. This feature allows the user to select the pass/fail limits
to be applied to electrical safety measurements performed under a given standard. This setting may be
toggled between:

• Per Standard (default)
• User-Defined

Each of the primary electrical standards (IEC60601; AAMI-ES1; VDE0751; IEC62353; and IEC61010) is
allocated one user-programmable table of limit values. The five user tables are maintained in the non-
volatile flash memory of ES601-US. Leakage and other limit values in these tables may be edited using the
Electrical Safety Limits module of the ES601pc-US software package, provided with the analyzer.

5.5 Equipment Information Menu

Press the

EQUIP. INFO

button to enter information about the equipment being tested. The

EQUIPMENT INFO menu allows entry of information such as the equipment control number, type
(description), manufacturer, model, serial number, facility, location and "TECH CODE" (technician
identification).
