Routine Care
Routinely verify that all air intake areas of the Angel
®
cPRP System are clear of
debris and clean as required.
In the event of a fluid (blood) spill, additional cleaning may be required beyond
routine cleaning. For example, fluid spills that accumulate in the centrifuge well
of the Angel
®
cPRP System require different procedures than spills isolated to
the exterior of the machine. This section identifies specific non-routine cleaning
procedures for properly cleaning spills.
Non-Routine Care
Using a sponge or cloth rinsed in mild detergent, disinfectant or a 15:1 water to
bleach solution, absorb and discard any excess fluids that have accumulated in
the centrifuge well.
Once the bulk of the fluids have been removed, follow the procedure below to
remove, disassemble, clean, reassemble and reinstall the centrifuge adapter plate:
PRECAUTION
Take care not to misplace the screws and springs when disassembling
the centrifuge adaptor plate . If springs or screws are misplaced,
you may order replacements by contacting the Cytomedix, Inc .
Customer Service Response Center .
