B.2 SEGNALAZIONI MANUALI
Questo capitolo stabilisce segnali manuali chiari
che grazie il loro impiego normalizzato, impedisco-
no possibili incomprensioni tra l’operatore e l’aiu-
tante.
L’operatore deve conoscere i segnali manuali di
sollevamento affidandosi, per le indicazioni di ma-
novra, a un solo “responsabile” osservando scru-
polosamente le norme di sicurezza per la salvaguar-
dia propria e degli altri lavoratori coinvolti nell’at-
tività.
La serie dei gesti convenzionali che si riporta di se-
guito non pregiudica la possibilità di impiego di
altri sistemi di codici applicabili a livello comunita-
rio, in particolare in certi settori nei quali si usino le
stesse manovre.

winch drum. Never unroll the rope all the

drilling working cycle described in the

B.2 HAND SIGNALS
This chapter described how to use clear hand
signals which, being standard signals, avoid
possible misunderstandings between the operator
and his assistant.
The operator must know the lifting hand signals by
assigning duty of giving the operating signals only
to a supervisor, and by following to the letter all
the safety rules in order to protect himself and all
other workers involved with the operation.
The set of conventional hand signals shown below
do not jeopardize the opportunity to use other
code systems applicable within the EU, especially
in industries where the same instructions are used.
