4.4

Alarm ON/OFF

Press the                     switch until the cursor reaches the alarm buzzer. When alarm is set to “ON”, the alarm

tone will sound continuously until the          switch is pressed. The alarm tone is preset to “ON” at the time of

shipment from the factory.  When the alarm tone is not required, set it to “OFF”.  When the alarm tone is “OFF”,

the LED of the measured parameter which violated the alarm settings will still flash and the systolic "HI" and

"LO" LEDs will show "ALb OFF".

4.5

Initial Cuff Inflation Value

Press the                  switch until the cursor reaches initial inflation. Set initial cuff inflation pressure value by

pressing the         switch up or down.  In the adult/pediatric mode, the value can range from 120 mmHg to 240

mmHg in increments of 20 mmHg.  In the neonate mode, the value can range from 80 mmHg to 140 mmHg in

increments of 20 mmHg.

4.6

Pre-Measure Tone

Press the                      switch to scroll the cursor to the pre-measure tone selection. When this selection is
"ON", the monitor will give notification of an oncoming Timed Interval Measurement. Two short beeps will sound
10 seconds prior to the measurement to allow the patient to become prepared for the measurement.

4.7

Smart Monitoring

Press the                     switch to select the Smart Monitoring feature. If "OFF" is selected, the Smart Monitoring
feature will not activate. If "1" is selected, the monitor will complete a blood pressure change verification once
between interval measurement. If "3" is selected three verifications will be made between interval
measurements.

Note: 

The Smart Monitoring feature will not activate in the Neonate Mode, and only activate if the

measurement intervals are greater than 5 minutes in the Adult Mode. If a noticeable blood pressure change
is detected, the Smart Monitoring feature will automatically initiate a blood pressure measurement.

Note:

 The Smart Inflation feature will only activate in the Adult Mode. If the Neonate Mode is selected,

the inflation pressure automatically defaults to the initial inflation pressure setting.

4.8

Smart Inflation

Press the                     switch to select the Smart Inflation feature. If "ON" is selected, the inflation pressure will
automatically be determined by the artery occlusion point during the inflation of the cuff. If "OFF" is selected, the
inflation pressure will default to the initial inflation setting.
