Setting Alarm Limits
Press the “Alarm Set” switch. The LCD display shows the menu and the cursor flashes at “SYS”.
Set the upper and lower limits for “SYS”. Press the switch to set the upper limits (the value cannot be
set below the lower limit on the alarm setting).
Press the switch to set the lower limits (the value cannot be set higher than the upper limits on the alarm
setting).
Press the switch again and systolic alarm limits are set.
Every time the switch is pressed, the flashing indicator on the LCD display moves to the next parameter:
“MBP” (mean blood pressure), “DIA”, and “PR” respectively. Set the upper and lower limits for each indicator
in the same way as in Step 2, 3, and 4.
Press the switch one last time to exit the alarm menu. Once the alarm limits have been set, they will not
change, even when the power is turned off.
Caution:
When the measured value reaches or exceeds the high limit or falls below the low limit settings,
its display will flash continuously. If the audible alarm has been set and a violation has occurred, the audible
alarm will sound continuously.
