Adjust the position as needed to avoid conflicts

with other frame components.

Do not install the upper

run of hat channel on the curve of the rafter. Hat

channel must remain on the straight section of all

rafters.

5. Measure 42" up from the mark made in the previous

step and repeat the steps to mark the third run of side

INSTALL SIDE RUNS OF HAT CHANNEL (continued)

when it is placed in position. Set a panel in place

to verify this dimension and adjust the hat channel

position as needed to achieve the 6" clearance.
