INSTALL GUTTER-CONNECT SYSTEM
The 2-bay greenhouses use a gutter-connect system
between the bays to efficiently divert water away from the
greenhouses.
The gutter-connect kits are installed before the main covers
are installed and before installing the end panels.
Each Gutter Assembly (#104125) includes:
(1) Ten (10') foot gutter section
(4) Five (5') foot gutter rails
(1) Connector
ASSEMBLE AND INSTALL THE GUTTER-CONNECT
SYSTEM
Complete the following steps to assemble the gutter
sections.
1. Select a 10' gutter section and place it in position
between the rafter legs of the two bays to determine
which outside bolt channel will work the best. See Step
3. (Remove the gutter section.)
2. Select two gutter sections and connect them using the
connector as shown in the following drawing.
NOTE:
A small hammer and wood block can be used
to seat the connector in one gutter and to seat the
remaining gutter section onto the connector.
Drawing above shows a connector and two gutter
sections.
Install gutter here.
3. After the two sections are connected and seated in
place, locate the gutter mounting bolts and slide these
into the top channel that runs along the outside of each
gutter section.
NOTE:
Two bolts are required to attach the gutter
section to each rafter leg. (Actual bolts and locations
may differ.)
4. When all mounting bolts are slid into the channel of the
connected gutter sections, lift the connected sections
into position between the greenhouse bays as shown
below.
NOTE:
Each gutter section is 10' in length. Rafter
spacing is 6' on center. Extra gutter length is included
so the gutter can extend beyond the ends of the
greenhouse.
Below is a top view of the same.
