INSTALL THE CENTER RUNS OF HAT CHANNEL
The final runs of hat channel are installed at the peak of the
rafters. This hat channel is used to secure the upper edge
of the polycarbonate panel and the ridge cap to the frame.
ATTENTION:

The following steps describe one way to complete the
procedure.
1. Using the center line marked on the tops of the rafters
in the previous procedure and a section of ridge cap
(CG96174), determine where to install the final two
runs of hat channel. Use the diagram above as a guide.
NOTE:
The edge of the ridge cap must be in a position
that will allow a Tek screw to be driven through the
ridge cap and roof panel and into the hat channel.
Once you have marked the location of each run of hat
channel, attach the sections of hat channel as shown
above and as previously described.
NOTE:
Use a section of ridge cap as a guide to ensure
an accurate spacing of the final runs of hat channel.
2. Install hat channel for the remaining bay roofs.
3. After installing all hat channel for the roof sections,
continue by installing the gutter film between bays.

INSTALL GUTTER FILM (D1002554M)
Gather the parts:
• Gutter film, Tek screws, and neo-bonded washers
Assembly Procedure
Unpack the gutter film and attach the film to the frame
and gutter between each bay. Secure the gutter film to
the gutter using the gutter rails, which snap into the inside
gutter channel. (Gutter rails ship in 5' lengths for each 10'
section of gutter.)
The gutter rail shown above secures the layer of the gutter
film into the gutter channel
.
Position the gutter film between the gutter rail and the
gutter channel. Press the gutter rail into the channel to lock
the film in place.
Complete the following steps to install the gutter film:
1. Locate the gutter film and review the above diagrams
and information.
2. Cut a length of film from the

roll that is
the
length of the greenhouse plus two (2) feet
.
Example (72' greenhouse): 72' + 2' = 74' (film length).
3. Place gutter film (lengthwise) in the gutter and resting
against the rafters with one edge in the gutter.
4. Choose one length of the gutter rail and move to one
end of the greenhouse bay. (Begin in the center and
work towards each end if desired.)
