Chapter 3 Repairs
Before opening the Mixolab, you must switch it off and discon-
nect its power supply.
1. Remove the right-hand cover of the Mixolab (see op. 1-1) .
2. Reconnect the main power supply.
3. Turn on the instrument's switch.
4. 230VAC present inside the instrument.
5. On the maintenance screen, check that the rotation speed is
80 rpm (
A ) or 250 rpm (click the arrows to adjust it if neces-
sary).
6. Click "On" to start the motor (it should start and the thumb
wheel should turn
B ).
7. Place the tachometer directly on the motor shaft ( C ).
8. Make a note of the speed measured with the tachometer,
which should be 960 rpm ± 24 (or 80 rpm ±1% at the level of
the mixing blades) or 3000 rpm ± 24 (or 250 rpm ±1% at the
level of the mixing blades).
Note : If the measured speed is different from the setpoint speed in
the maintenance menu, the instrument's speed measurement
is probably wrong. In the latter case, check the thumb wheel
or its sensor.
9. Switch off the instrument and disconnect it.
10. Put the right-hand cover of the Mixolab back on (see op. 1-1) .
