Chapter 3 Repairs
1. Remove the Mixolab's left and right-hand covers (see op. 1-1)
and central cover (see op. 1-2) .
2. Disconnect the magnetic sensor's connector on the CPU
board (
A ).
3. Maintain the cable gland nut ( B ) with a spanner and unscrew
the upper part by hand.
4. Remove the magnetic sensor from the cable gland.
5. Thread the upper part of the cable gland onto the new mag-
netic sensor.
6. Put in place the new magnetic sensor in the body of the cable
gland.
The detector should be recessed by 0.5 mm in relation to the
plate where the cable gland is installed (
C ).
7. Screw the upper part of the cable gland onto the body of the
cable gland.
8. Connect the new magnetic sensor's connector to the CPU
board, respecting the mounting direction: the connector's red
warning light should face upwards (
A ).
9. Replace the Mixolab's left and right-hand covers (see op. 1-1)
and central cover (see op. 1-2) .
