Chapter 3 Repairs
Note : To adjust the flow rate of the solenoid valve, the Mixolab pref-
erably needs to be connected to the water via a cryostat at a
temperature of 20°C.
1. Connect a flow meter to the "IN" inlet of the Mixolab 2 ( A ).
2. Open the cooling system's solenoid valve ( B ).
3. Set the flow rate ( C ) to 0.7 litres per minute (±0.1 litre per min-
ute) on the flow meter. To do this:
- Loosen the thumb wheel ( C
1
) by turning it in the direction of
the blue arrow ( C
1a
).
- Turn the set screw ( C
2
): leftwards to loosen (pink arrow
( C
2a
)) and increase the flow rate or rightwards to tighten (red
arrow ( C
2b
)) and decrease the flow rate.
4. Tighten the thumb wheel ( C
1
) in the direction of the yellow
arrow ( C
1b
).
