Chapter 3 Repairs
9. Remove the upper bar ( F ) and its two retaining screws.
10. Unscrew and remove the 5 retaining screws ( G ) on the white
plastic plate.
11. Remove the white plastic plate stuck to the locking plates (left
and right) and the heating plate.
12. Unscrew the temperature fuse ( H ) from the heating plate and
replace it.
13. Put the white plastic plate back against the locking plates and
the heating plate, apply silicone mastic to the parts in contact
to seal the block then fix the plate using the 5 retaining screws.
14. Replace the upper bar and its two retaining screws.
15. Put the wired thermocouple (see op. 2-3) back on the white
plastic plate.
16. Put the bowl's magnetic sensor (see op. 2-5) back on the white
plastic plate.
17. Replace all the heating resistors in the right order (see figure
opposite), making sure to coat the new resistors with com-
pound grease before putting the plates in the bowl.
18. Put the temperature sensor back in the heating plate, coat it
with silicone heat dissipation compound.
19. Apply silicone mastic to the flush part of the resistors and the
temperature sensor on the white plastic plate.
20. Reconnect the resistor and temperature fuse wires to the ter-
minal block (see figure opposite).
21. Replace the Mixolab's left and right-hand covers (see op. 1-1) .
