Chapter 3 Repairs
1. Remove the Mixolab's left and right-hand covers (see op. 1-1)
and central cover (see op. 1-2) .
2. Remove the wired motor (see op. 6-1) .
3. Loosen the coupling's set screw at the torque meter end ( A ).
4. Remove the coupling from the torque meter shaft ( B ).
Note: Make sure you retrieve the cotter pin ( C ) on the torque meter
shaft.
To put back the coupling, pay attention to the points below:
- The base of the motor must be parallel to the frame.
- The motor shaft must be aligned with the torque meter and trans-
mission must take place with no hard spots (rotate the thumb wheel
by hand to test this).
- The coupling's screws must be locked with weak Loctite thread-
lock.
- Calibrate the torque meter (see op. 12-9) .
