Chapter 3 Repairs
1. Remove the Mixolab's left and right-hand covers (see op. 1-1) .
2. Remove the two retaining screws from the aluminium block on
the central cover
(A) .
3. Unscrew the aluminium ball from the locking system ( B ).
4. Unscrew the two retaining screws ( C ) on the front of the alu-
minium block (hold the block to prevent it dropping).
5. Disconnect the locking contact's connector ( D ) on the CPU
board.
6. Unscrew the contact's two retaining screws ( E ) on the alumin-
ium block.
7. Thread the locking contact's connector through the cable hole
(remove the grommet) then remove the contact and its cable.
To fit the new locking contact:

Thread the grommet onto the cable before fitting it.

Remember to stick the cable on the aluminium block ( F ). and
make sure it does not obstruct the locking system.
