7 - MAINTENANCE

Engine - Cleaning

This mode of operation is required to burn off excessive soot accumulation in the catalyst.

Activate the Manual Catalyst Management (MCM) as required:
• when a message appears on the multifunction display
• immediately before to perform an engine oil change.

Prior operation:

Keep all non-authorized personnel clear of the area.

1. Park the machine on a firm, level surface in a safe area

to accommodate hot exhaust.

2. The display is ON and shows the main menu.

3. Use the keypad on the right-hand of the display to se-

lect the key to access to the “Machine service” screens.

4. Use the keypad on the right-hand of the display to se-

lect the key to switch to the “Maintenance” screens.

5. Use the keypad on the right-hand of the display to se-

lect the “Manual Catalyst Management” item.

6. Conditions to be satisfied to start the Manual Catalyst

Management (MCM):
• Parking brake is applied
• Engine is running
• The vehicle is not operating.
• The fuel lel is at least half a tank full.

Select “Hold to start” to proceed with the Manual Cata-
lyst Management.

NOTE:

Do not attempt to move or operate the machine dur-

ing the process as this will abort the management cycle.
Failure to comply may cause damage to the exhaust sys-
tem.

7. When the management cycle terminates, a message

on the screen appears.
