Note:

Note:

When performing maintenance activities on the DSD EDGE™ Reprocessor,

ensure there is adequate ambient illumination to prevent against hazards during maintenance.

INSPECT/CLEAN DISINFECTANT FILTER

Warning!

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn

when handling the filter.

Note:

The reprocessor must be in idle state to perform this procedure.

The disinfectant filter should be checked and cleaned on a monthly basis.
1. Place a container under the filter to catch any excess liquid.
2. Rotate the filter cover counter-clockwise and remove.

3. Remove the filter screen by pulling the screen from the cap.
4. Wash the filter screen under running water to remove

any debris.

5. Place filter screen back in housing cap, ensuring that O-rings

are in the correct locations.

6. Re-attach the filter cover and hand tighten in clockwise direction.
7. Record the date of inspection in the log.
