HOW TO PROCEED WHEN A LEAK IS DETECTED
Caution!
A leak test must be performed using a manual leak test or validated Dry Leak Test
System prior to reprocessing in the DSD EDGE™ Reprocessor. The Leak Testing system in
the DSD EDGE Reprocessor is for redundancy purposes to protect the integrity of the scopes.
Major Leak Detected
If the pressure drops below 50 mmHg, the cycle is halted,
the control panel’s Warning LED indicator blinks and a
“Leak Fail” error message displays on the screen.
1. On the Control Panel, press
STOP
to end
the cycle. The cycle is aborted.
2. Resolve the leak issue.
