REPLACE INTERNAL 0.2-MICRON
BACTERIA-RETENTIVE FILTER
Warning! Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required tomust be worn when
handling the filter.
Note: The reprocessor must be in idle state to perform this procedure.
1. Close the main (external) water supply valve. Figure 7.2
2. Do the following to open the internal water supply valve:
a. On the control panel, press SETUP

b. Type

on the keypad, then press
ENTER
.
This opens the incoming water supply solenoid valve
providing a water supply to the on-board .2 micron
filter housing.
A counter on the LCD display begin to count down from 250
to 0 in one second increments. After 250 seconds, the incoming
water supply solenoid valve automatically closes.
3. Do the following to release the pressure in the water lines
and filter housing: Figure 7.3
a. Direct the purge line into a container that can hold a
minimum of 1 liter of liquid.
b. Slowly open the blue-handled air bleed valve to allow
the water to drain into the container.
c. Wait until water flow is reduced to a slow drip.
d. Close the blue-handled air bleed valve.
e. Shake the purge line to empty any remaining drops
of water.
f. Remove the container and empty.
