9. APPLYING GREASE (- []3[] SPECIFICATIONS)

If the screen shown at left is displayed, apply grease.

<To continue sewing without applying grease>

Press the OK key (1) in the screen shown at left.

1. Turn off the power switch.

2. Remove the rubber caps and set screws.

3. Apply grease to each of the holes until the grease

overflows slightly.

4. Tighten the rubber caps and the set screws in order to

push the grease in.

5. Turn the machine pulley by hand to move the needle bar

up and down several times in order to disperse the

grease.

6. Use a cloth to wipe away any excess grease from around

the rubber caps and set screws and from underneath

needle bar bush D.

7. Clear the setting while referring to "Clearing the grease

consumption amount".
