Retrieving the Placement Editors

Open existing placement table

Any existing placement table can be opened in operating area "Program

<OP4>" using the MTX Navigator or directly from a placement editor that has

already been started.
To open a placement table from the MTX Navigator:
1.

Call the MTX Navigator in the operating area "Program <OP4>".

Open the desired placement table (file ending .pmt) as follows:

Double-click on the table name with the mouse.
– or –

Select the table name and press <F6 Edit>.
– or –

●

Select the table name and select in the following menu item via the

context menu: Edit .
– or –

●

Select the table name and press <Enter>.

The new placement table is opened in the placement editor.
To open an existing placement table from a placement editor that has already

been started:
1.

Switch to the 2nd F-keypad with <F8> and press <F2 file...> to switch to

the file functions.

Press <F3 Open....>.
A dialogs opens in which the desired placement table can be selected.

Confirm the selection of the placement table with "OK".

A second placement editor with the selected placement table opens.

If the entered name of the placement table does not exist, a corre‐

sponding error message appears in the status line.

Create New Placement Table

A new placement table can either be created via the MTX Navigator or via an

already opened placement editor. By default, a newly created placement table

has one correction page. Alternatively, any placement table can be used as

template to create a new table.
