Tool measurement is only possible for the active tool and the active
edge.
The asynchronous subroutine (Asup) 8 is currently reserved to im‐
plement the setting up functions such as "Zero reference posi‐
tion". To avoid program conflicts, the Asup 8 may not be used for
individual NC programs by the user.
In the MACODA parameter 3080 00001
"NCO/FileOrg/SrchPathSubProg"(search path for subroutines), the
search path "usr/bosch" has to be entered since the NC program
for "writing tool data in the correction register" is program-internally
saved there.
Tool correction types Tool measurement can be executed using the tool correction types 1 to 4 (drill‐
ing tools, milling tools, turning tools and angle head tools). For tools of type 4,
the edge position 0 is a prerequisite.
Axes and planes The tool geometry can be determined for the axes defined (e.g.: X_Y_Z).
The planes G17, G18 and G19 are supported. Irrespective of the assignment
of the length correction values set by the machine parameter "G47( )" or by the
NC program, the values determined are assigned according to the active plane.
Variants for tool measurement
The values that should be considered for calculation can be preselected via the
operating screen.
