To orbit a model

Click Orbit

 on the Navigation Mode toolbar.

To rotate the camera around the model, drag the left mouse button, or using the cursor keys.

NOTE

Holding down the SHIFT key, or spinning the mouse wheel, temporarily enables normal zoom mode.

To glide the camera, hold down the CTRL key as you drag the mouse. The camera glides left and right and
up and down.

As orbit mode is camera-centric, this mode differs from normal pan mode in that the camera is moved
rather than the model.

Examine Mode

In examine mode, you can rotate the model around the focal point.

To examine a model

Click Examine

 on the Navigation Mode toolbar.

To rotate the model around the focal point, drag the left mouse button, or using the cursor keys. If the
mouse is moving when you let go of the button, the model keeps spinning. Clicking on the model stops
this.

NOTE

Holding down the Shift key, or spinning the mouse wheel, temporarily enables normal zoom mode. Holding

down the CTRL key, temporarily enables normal pan mode.
