Starting the Instrument Up After Long Periods of Disuse

Use the following procedure to start up the instrument after 1 week or more of disuse.

Prepare: Concentrated washing solution 3 (for AUTION MAX), and purified water

Fill the washing solution bottle with the washing solution.

Prepare the washing solution and transfer it to the

washing solution bottle.

page 4-15.

Turn on the power.

Plug the power cord into an AC receptacle.

Press the ON side of the main power switch.

Press the standby switch to turn on the power.

•

During warm-up, the instrument will fill the flow

lines with washing solution.

Load the test strips.

Make sure the standby screen is displayed.

Load the test strips into the feeders.

IMPORTANT: The quality of the test strips in

the feeders is ensured for three days. Using

the strips left in the feeders for longer periods

may produce incorrect results.
