Powering Down
When the system is powered down, be sure the indicator lights on the CPU are
off and the fans have stopped before reapplying power.
6.2 Serial Control Device Startup
If you have not already done so, attach the serial control device to the enclosure
(see Chapter 4) and open your control program.
NetLinx

or Duet Compatible Devices
AMX AutoPatch distribution matrices can be controlled with any NetLinx
®
or
Duet compatible device. For control information, see the specific device’s
product documentation.
APControl
If you are using APControl 3.0, install and open the program. Follow the
directions in the setup wizard. As part of the setup wizard, APControl will
discover the system’s configuration information. From the Launchbar menu,
select Views / CrossBar and click on the crosspoints to execute switches.

HyperTerminal
When power is applied to the enclosure(s), HyperTerminal displays a short
splash screen with basic information followed by “
Ready
” (see Figure 15). The
system is ready for a test switch (see page 7-2). If you need to see advanced
system information, enter
~scr!
to view a long splash screen.
