The information in the dialog boxes for the instructions below is based on the
following scenario. A 64x64 composite router is reconfigured as 32x32 Y/c
router by creating a new virtual matrix, VM2, that switches 32 channels of “Y”
and 32 channels of “c” using the previous “composite” channels.

To create a new virtual matrix:
1. From the Virtual Matrix menu, select Add Virtual Matrix.
The Assign Virtual Matrix Signals dialog box opens.
2. Under the Supported System Signals list (use either tab), select the signals
for the new VM (to select multiple signals, hold down the Control key) and
click Assign Signal.
3. Under Virtual Matrix Info, enter a number and a unique name. Click OK.
The Assign Signals to Matrices dialog box opens.
4. From the Available Signals box, select the signal.
5. If applicable – For a multi-enclosure system, from the Enclosure drop down
list, select the correct enclosure.
