6.3 Redundant Power Supply (RPS)
Each Epica enclosure comes with three power supplies.
If a power supply fails, the RPS LED on the front of the enclosure will display a
constant red. On the failed power supply, the Power LED will blink red.
Important:
A failed power supply should be replaced
as soon as possible
to
maintain the system’s full redundancy. Contact technical support for
replacement information (see page 7-3).
If a power supply's Power LED is blinking red:

Ensure the power cord is completely plugged in and the power switch is on.
q
Check and, if necessary, replace the fuse (5 Amp time lag 5 mm x 20 mm.
See Figure 14, page 6-2).
If the LED continues to blink, contact technical support (for contact
information, see page 7-3).
Caution:
Do not remove a failed power supply until you have the replacement
and are ready to install it. The Epica enclosure is able to operate normally with a
failed RPS.
