Caution

The RM/S is supplied ex-works with a default setting (factory default).
This ensures the fan setting is switched off when the bus voltage is
applied to the relay for the first time. Thus, damage to the device due to
unintentional switch on during transport, e.g. due to vibration, is avoided.

It is advisable to apply a bus voltage before connecting the fan in order to
achieve a defined switch state of the fan. This eliminates the possibility of
the destruction of the fan due to an incorrect contact setting.
