Xerox Document Centre System Administration Guide

Machine Software

Auto Upgrade Scheduling

The Auto Upgrade feature allows you to schedule automatic 
machine software upgrades from a central server at a specific time 
on a daily basis, or hourly.

1.

Open your Web browser and enter the TCP/IP address of the 
Document Centre in the Address or Location field.

2.

Click the Properties tab or click Properties in the directory 
tree.

3.

Select Services, then select Machine Software in the 
directory tree.

4.

Check the Enabled box to enable the Auto Upgrade feature.

5.

Check the Hourly or Daily box to activate the feature 
accordingly.  If daily, enter the time of day to perform the 
upgrade.

6.

Type the IP address for the upgrade server in File Server IP 
Address.

7.

Type the path to the upgrade files in Directory Path.
