Regulator
To remove the regulator, first remove the bottom base
enclosure, then (See Figure 3-31):
Use a 5/8” open end wrench to remove the gas line

from the regulator.
Lift the regulator from the regulator bottom bracket.

Display Bracket and Display Board
To remove the display bracket and display board, first
remove the bottom base enclosure, then (See Figure 3-
32):
Use a 5/8” open end wrench to remove the gas
1.
lines from the valve body.
Use a large crescent wrench to remove the knob
2.
bezel.
Remove valve with valve bracket, display bracket,

and display board from unit.
Remove the connector from the display board.

Use a Phillips screw driver to extract the two

screws from the display bracket.
Remove the display bracket.
6.
Use a Phillips screw driver or a 1/4” nut driver to

extract the two screws from the display board.
Remove the display board.
8.
Multifunction Gas Valve
To remove the gas valve, first remove the display
board, then (See Figure 3-33):
Disconnect the valve switch spade connector from

the valve switch.
Use a Phillips screw driver to extract the two

screws holding the valve bracket to the valve.
