5.2 First clean the pressure cooker

Take the pressure cooker apart as described in
Chapter 5.1
.

Fill 2/3 (see inner scaling Image I) of the pot

with water and add 2-3 tablespoons of
household vinegar.
3. Boil the vinegar water in the pot

without
the lid

for about 5-10 minutes.
4. Afterwards, wash all parts thoroughly by hand.

Dry all parts well after cleaning.
5.3 Assembling the pressure cooker
CAUTION
RISK OF BURNS CAUSED BY
INCORRECTLY ASSEMBLED LID
The lid cannot be put together incorrectly.
Assembly must follow the manner described.

Check for correct fit.
5.3.1 Assemble the lid
(see image series H)
1. Check lid rim, lid handle, safety devices
and seal ring for dirt or clogging.
2. Turn lid

downward.

and hold in place.

Check that it is correctly seated by pressing
on the red slider.
9. Insert the seal ring

into the pot's rim and
carefully press under the rim.

must be positioned
completely below the curved pot rim.

6.1 Check safety devices

4. Check to ensure that the seal ring

and the
inner lid rim are clean.
