It is essential to read the operating manual before commissioning the machine. The manual provides you with all information that you need
for proper, safe and correct use and maintenance of the product. It must be kept handy for the operator at all times.
It is the owning operator's responsibility to ensure that:
•
All operators have read and understood the operating manual before using the machine.
•
In particular, all operators know the safety regulations and what they mean.
•
All operators have received training specific to the product in the use/handling of the machine.
•
Periodic examinations of operators and their handling of the machine are conducted.
•
The machine is used only by persons who have been expressly commissioned to use the machine.
•
Established rules and regulations regarding occupational safety are met, particularly regarding the handling of chemicals
and/or cleansing agents.
•
Any additional statutory or company regulations are adhered to.
•
Responsibilities for operation, maintenance and repair of the machine are clearly defined and observed.
•
The service agency must be notified immediately about any breakdowns and damage.
Further mandatory requirements:
•
During work, the operator must be mindful of other persons, especially of children.
•
Sturdy footwear must be worn to prevent injury.
•
When changing or dismantling operating elements or parts, the main switch or mains plug (charger) for cleaning and maintenance of the
machine must always be removed.
•
When leaving the machine, the machine must be secured against unintentional motion, the main switch must be removed and isolated
from the mains (if the battery is not loading).
WARNING:
A warning of dangers or of practices that could jeopardise safety, and could cause serious or even
fatal injuries.
•
Use only cleaning agents approved by the manufacturer.
•
Take note of manufacturer’s information on the hazards posed by cleaning- and care agents; if necessary, wear protective goggles and
protective clothing.
•
Express reference is made to the hazards when using highly inflammable, combustible, toxic, health-threatening, corrosive or irritant
substances.
