The EX1200A DMM has a replaceable fuse located on its front panel for current input and is user-
replaceable. It is a 3.15 A, 250 V fuse and can be replaced with VTI P/N: 35-0054-315.
Alternatively, P/N: 2173.15XP from Littlefuse, Inc. may also be used as a replacement.

In the event that the CPU board of the EX1207A, EX1208A, and EX1209A mainframes requires
replacement, it can be removed and returned to the factory for repair or replacement.

The following sections describe how to remove the CPU board from the 3U mainframes.

NOTE

As these devices are static sensitive, proper ESD precautions should be exercised when removing
and handling the DMM.

CEL-4 CPU Board Removal

Removal Procedure

1)

Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the jack-out screws from the CPU board front panel.

These screws are designed to pull the card out of the backplane’s mating connector. It is

recommended that both screws be loosed in equal amounts to avoid tension that may occur if
one screw is completely removed before the other.

2)

Using the jack-out screws, remove the CPU board from the mainframe.
