Normally, for full compliance testing, you would set the Measurement

Method to Voltage, which would require you to insert a standard

impedance network in the power line to the product under test.

However, assuming that this time you want to use the measurement

rig shown above for pre-compliance testing, click on the Current

button in the Measurement Method box; the Resistance and Reactance

default to the normal values specified in the IEC61000-3-3 Standard.

For the 2001 edition of the standard,

The dc limit is 3.3%

The dt limit is 500mS (the time for which the voltage characteristic

exceeds a voltage change of 3.3%)

The dmax limit is:

a) 4% without additional conditions

b) 6% for equipment that is:

- Switched manually

- Switched automatically > twice per day
