HARMONICS TEST DURATION
The 'test observation period', Tobs is defined by section 6.2.4. of the
standard.
The key criterion used to determine the observation period being that Tobs
(is) 'of sufficient duration to meet the requirements for repeatability'.

For 'Long cyclic' equipment a full equipment cycle test can be run and
period containing the highest THC determined (see 'Other data plot').
Repeat testing of equipment could than be tested using a 2.5 minute
duration centred on the point when the equipment produces the highest
THC.
