Pick-up Safeguard

The pick-up safeguard is a safety chain (2) (see Figure 6 on page 2-18) that sets the height of the pick-up and protects it from falling if the
hydraulic pressure should drop during driving. The chain prevents the pick-up from falling into holes or ditches in rough field conditions.
