Removing a HDD Drawer
Follow these steps to remove an HDD drawer:
1.
Power off the JBOD and detach all of the power cords from the power supply.
2.
Open an HDD drawer. See
“Opening an HDD Drawer” on page 13.
3.
Remove a cable cover. See
“Removing a Cable Cover” on page 35.
4.
Remove the HDDs. See
“Removing a 3.5” HDD” on page 30.
5.
Remove the expander boards. See
“Removing an Expander Board” on page 31.
6.
Disconnect the cables from the HDD backplanes.
7.
Remove the screws securing a rear cable chain bracket to the HDD drawer.
8.
Slide a rear cable chain bracket to unlock and remove
9.
Press the release latches to unlock the HDD drawer.
