196 Default Settings for Fax Functions
To set the secure RX activation period
1. Select "2. ACTIVATE" using the
or
button and press the [ENTER] but-
ton.
2. Enter the security code (4 digits) with the
digital keys and press the [ENTER] but-
ton.
y If the security code entered is not cor-
rect, the screen on the right appears
for about 2 seconds and returns to the
screen to enter a security code.
3. Select "2. ON" using the
or but-
ton and press the [ENTER] button.
y To cancel this function, select "1.
OFF".
* Default: [1.OFF]
4. Select "01. START TIME" using the
or button and press the [ENTER]
button.
5. Highlight the input areas using the
or
button and enter the start time then
press the [ENTER] button.
y To switch "AM" to "PM" or vice versa,
highlight the value using the
but-
ton and press the or button.
(Default time format is 12 hour time
system. To change the time format to
24 hour time system, see
Operator's
Manual for Copying Functions .)
y "AM/PM" is not displayed on the
equipment with 24 hour time system
adopted.
6. Select "02. END TIME" using the
