Intermediate frequency
Intermediate frequency inputs I.F.1 … I.F.6
The connection between the receiver unit and the down-converter uses a
coaxial cable, whose maximum length depends on the type of coaxial cable
used. If the “Celflex ½” coaxial cable is used, the maximum length is 130m
but if the RG-214 coaxial cable is used, the maximum length is reduced to
80m.
The IF inputs of the demodulator supply DC power to the down-converters.
