DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1) Connect scan tool to DLC with ignition switch OFF.
2) Turn ON ignition switch and clear DTC, pending DTC and freeze frame data by using scan tool.
3) Turn off ignition switch and then on.
4) Check DTC and pending DTC by using scan tool.

Check Wire Harness
1) Disconnect EGR throttle solenoid valve
connector with ignition switch turned OFF.
2) With ignition switch ON, check voltage between
“BLU / WHT” wire terminal of solenoid valve
connector and ground.

Within 5 sec. after ignition switch ON: 10 – 14 V

Over 5 sec. after ignition switch ON: about 0 V
Is check result as specified?
Go to Step 4.
“BLU / WHT” wire

1) Check solenoid valve referring to Section 6E3.
