UserSnapshot: Loading Mic Parameters

Allows user snapshots to temporarily access the microphone preamp param-

eters (high-pass filter, phantom power and gain) of either only local or local

and free remote channels.

Snapshot Location - Remote 

All global and user snapshots may be saved on a

central file server

. This is

a convenient feature whenever a user works on several different consoles

within a network; no matter on which of the networked consoles he is cur-

rently logged in, he has access to his snapshots.

Note:

System requirements for saving snapshots on a central snapshot file server:

• SMB file server

(Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista and Windows 7 not

supported)

• WINS server must be present within the network.

Snapshot Location 

Selects the location of the snapshots displayed in the user GUI; either Local,

i.e. in the console memory, or Remote, i.e. on the central snapshot file server.
