User Stopwatch
If activated with the
MAN
stopwatch key, the user stopwatch acts as a normal
time counter. It always starts from 00:00:00.
Start
The user stopwatch is started with
START
. While running, the
START
key is
illuminated.
Restart
While running, the user stopwatch can be restarted from 00:00:00 with a
second press on
START
.
Pause
When pressing
STOP
the user stopwatch is paused at the current reading;
pause is indicated by a flashing
START
key. Pressing
START
again resumes
the counting on from the current reading.
Stop
Pressing
STOP
two times stops the user stopwatch and resets it to zero.
It can display a time range of up to 23:59:59. Should this value be exceeded,
it restarts at 00:00:00.
It is also operative in the background, i.e. if the time-of-day clock or the fader
stopwatch are selected after a
START
command.
Please note that the user stopwatch and the countdown timer cannot be used
simultaneously. However, when activating
COUNT DOWN
while the user
stopwatch is running simply reverses the counting direction.
5.8.4
Countdown Timer
If both the
MAN
stopwatch and the
COUNT DOWN
timer keys are active the
display shows a countdown timer.
Entering a Start Time
The start time can be adjusted with the

(down) and
4
(up) keys. Pressing
one of these keys for an extended time continually increases the setting speed
for quick and convenient adjustment. Maximum start time is 23:59:59.
Start
Once the start time is adjusted the countdown timer is started with
START
.
While running, the
START
key is illuminated. When reaching zero, the count-
down timer stops, the
START
key becomes dark, and the original start time
flashes for a few seconds in the display. Afterwards it is displayed steadily.
Restart
While running, the countdown timer can be restarted from the adjusted start
time by pressing
START
.
Pause
When pressing
STOP
the countdown timer is paused at the current reading;
pause is indicated by a flashing
START
key. Pressing
START
again resumes
the countdown from the current reading.
Stop
Pressing
STOP
two times stops the countdown timer and resets it to the origi-
nal start time.
It is also operative in the background, i.e. if the time-of-day clock or the fader
stopwatch are selected after a
START
command.
